With the weather set fair and looking good for the Saturday off we set westwards once again in the direction of Tyndrum. Our mission this time around was to cycle from the main A82 out towards Auch Estate and through the hills towards Loch Lyon at the head of Glen Lyon, Scotland’s longest glen.
Picking up a fairly good track we would cycle around the western side of the loch, splashing through the many burns en route until we reached the dam at the northern end of the loch at the village of Pubil from where we would return along the eastern shoreline. The weather couldn’t have been better with bright blue skies and sunshine for the whole day and with the snow capped mountains all around it was a pleasant environment to be around.
