Not really a mountain bike adventure but a nice day out never the less and a chance to relax on an iconic Scottish steamer before the hard work begins on the return leg

We took the Sir Walter Scott steamer from the pier at the head of Loch Katrine and sailed the full length of the loch and disembarked at Stronachlachar and the chance to grab some provisions and take in refreshment. From there we made our way back to the start following the quiet loch side track.
The track was quite busy with fellow cyclists and walkers as we got closer to the car park back at the main pier. The track was never flat but undulated along the shore line affording good views from the high vantage points.
